This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and partners of Millersoft Ltd. It covers all aspects of our operations, from office management and software development to procurement, events, and cloud infrastructure usage.

We aim to:

4. Key Areas of Focus​

A. Energy Use & Carbon Reduction​

  • Utilize energy-efficient equipment and technologies.
  • Prioritize cloud service providers with a net-zero or renewable energy commitment (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Enable and support remote working to reduce commuting-related emissions.
  • Monitor and aim to reduce our Scope 2 emissions from electricity use in offices.

B. Digital Sustainability​

  • Optimize software and data processing to reduce computational overhead.
  • Evaluate the environmental cost of data storage, transmission, and computation—especially relevant for AI and big data operations.
  • Favor sustainable coding practices and efficient algorithm design.

C. Waste Management​

  • Promote digital-first workflows to reduce paper usage.
  • Recycle electronic equipment responsibly and extend hardware lifespans where possible.
  • Collaborate with certified e-waste recycling partners.

D. Sustainable Procurement​

  • Work with vendors and suppliers who demonstrate environmental responsibility.
  • Include sustainability criteria in vendor selection and evaluation processes.
  • Choose energy-efficient or refurbished hardware when feasible.

E. Employee Engagement​

  • Educate and encourage employees to adopt eco-conscious habits.

5. Monitoring & Reporting​

  • Annual Review: Progress against sustainability objectives will be reviewed annually.

  • Supplier Audits: Sustainability practices will be considered in supplier audits and reviews.

6. Governance and Responsibilities​

  • The Operations Lead is responsible for the implementation of this policy.
  • Department heads are accountable for promoting sustainable practices in their areas.
  • Every team member is expected to act in accordance with this policy and contribute to Millersoft’s sustainability goals.

7. Continuous Improvement​

We are committed to regularly reviewing and updating our environmental practices in line with evolving technologies, industry standards, and stakeholder expectations.

8. Policy Review​

This policy will be reviewed annually or as needed to reflect updates in legislation, industry best practices, and company strategy.
